Universal options AVANTI Flow Owner’s Manual v1.0

To upgrade over your wireless network (recommended)

1 Press Options; highlight and select ‘Additional settings’; select ‘Upgrade’; and select ‘Wi-Fi’.

2 AVANTI Flow will search for any available upgrades.

3 If an upgrade is available the message

‘New version available: v1.x’ will appear on screen. In

the event that older software upgrades, which have been superceded by the new upgrade, are

available press Show all to display all the available (legacy) upgrades.

4 Press OK to download and install the new ﬁrmware, which can take up to 5 minutes.

To upgrade using a USB cable (where a wireless network is not available)

1 Visit www.pure.com/support to check to see if an upgrade is available for AVANTI Flow.

2 If an upgrade is listed on the website, download the most recent upgrade to your PC.

3 Connect AVANTI Flow to your PC’s USB port. Follow the on-screen instructions provided with

the upgrade software.

8.8 Binding the remote

This option matches your Reach F-10 RF remote control to your AVANTI Flow unit which enables your

AVANTI Flow to pick up the signals from the remote. As standard your remote will already be matched

to your AVANTI Flow unit and you should never normally have to use this option. However, if you have

either your remote or your AVANTI Flow unit replaced or you have used your Reach F10 remote with

another product such as an EVOKE Flow this procedure will bind the remote to your AVANTI Flow

again.

To bind your remote control

1. Press Options, highlight and select ‘Additional settings’ and select ‘Bind remote’.

2. Press Repeat + Shufﬂe [

+ ] on the remote at the same time.

3. Press Select on your remote to test the binding.

8.9 Factory reset

Resetting your radio removes all DAB and FM presets (but not your internet Favourites), clears the

DAB station list and resets all options to defaults. All your wireless networks settings will be cleared.

1. Press and hold Options for 3 seconds to display the ‘

Factory reset’ menu.

2. Press Yes to conﬁrm the reset or No to cancel, or wait 7 seconds for the screen to time-out.

Note

If you only want AVANTI Flow to forget all wireless networks, not your other settings, you

can select

‘Clear network settings’ in the ‘Wi-Fi settings’ menu.
